Dorothy H Mohn Memorial Swim
The Brigantine Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge hosts the Dorthy H.
Mohn Memorial One Mile Bay Swim during its annual Bayfest fund-raising cookout.
The cookout behind the Lodge sells the likes of crab cakes, steamed shrimp and clams, corn-on-the-cob,
hamburgers, hot dogs, funnel cake, soda, and beer.
Live(?) bands provide entertainment.
This party atmosphere is perhaps a stronger draw than the race itself for the handful of swimmers
Logistics are simple.
